Inspiring, Creative Week-end

Image
This past week end was a whirl wind of friends classes and an "Art Day" on Sunday. What a fun and inspirational week end. Sat started my adventure when I joined Maija and Earleen at Scrapbooks Etc for Susan and Jenny's Shabby Masters Class. Although I didn't get my album done (still creating it) I learned many new techniques and had so much fun back to scrapping. Earleen kept us on our toes that is for sure. Maija introduced me to her favorite coffee Dutch Bros. Oh my I may have a new addiction. Thanks Maija Wooden album cover. I am working on the layouts. Slowly getting them done Sunday was a day at the Circus. Our group of talented gals met at Maija's for a day filled with Circus themed decor, food and the cutest mini album. Check out Maija's blog for her photos of the album and our layouts. Maija set the mood for us with bright colors, balloons, fabulous food, fruits, potato salad and coleslaw, chili dogs and to die for cupcakes. T

What a fabulous weekend

Last Friday I flew in to LA to meet Colleen for Kim's Jane Affaire. What a memorable weekend it was. From hanging out with Colleen, Maija , Jessi, Earleen, Annette and Kim H at the hotel, to taking a class from Kristen, the food, the swaps, the friendships and oh my the shopping. It was such a great weekend. Unfortunately I took very few pics. But Ruth Rae and everyone else took some great pics of the event. Friday we hung out with Maija and Jessi in their room and then had dinner with the Az girls Earleen and Annette and Denise Hahn joined us. What a fun dinner that was. Saturday was the event. When we walked into Kim's home it was like a magical transformation had taken place. It was a beautiful feminine pinks every where you looked. Our tables had the most gorgeous floral arrangements and our place settings were oh so pretty in pinks. The goodie bag was the softest of pale pink towels made into a bag filled with gifts from the vendors. The whole day was full

Catching Up

Well once again it has been a while since my last post. Really no excuses except daily life and work are keeping me busy. I am happy to say my horrible cold is finally better and I dare say gone after 3 weeks. I am sure if I had stock in cold medicines and Kleenex I would be able to retire in style. All the family are busy with school, baseball, orchestra, and work. We all manage to stay very busy with all of these things. Jenn's husband John leaves this week for a trip with his twin brother to Rome. Can't wait to hear about his experiences. Anthony is once again in farm league baseball and is doing really well. I think his Mom and Dad enjoy it as much as he does. Jenn has turned into the unofficial team photographer so risking life and limb she has been taking lots of pics of the boys. Easter Sunday all the kids and grand kids were at my house. We had a fun filled day with great food and a mean game of extreme croquet. Anthony and TJ set up the croquet
