Haircut day






Jennifer, kids and I all headed to Laurie's for haircuts and highlighting. As usual it was a fun 3 hours. Anthony of course got his green hair but new addition was green spots. Mine a bit shorter than usual but love it.

Final Goodbyes

It has been a gut wrenching sad and emotional two months for the Struchen's. We have said our final goodbyes with many tears, laughter, sadness and breaking hearts. Dad passed on Feb 25th and now Mom has joined him on March 10th.  We knew Mom was very ill but none of us expected that she would go so very quickly. And now as my sister says we are orphans.  We are still family but right now without Dad and Mom to bring us and keep us all together as they had worked so hard to do all these years. As I had written on Caring Bridge Dad was our hero, our mentor our DAD.  It is so hard to realize there are no more early am text messages or emails  no more 4pm Sunday phone calls.  There is a giant void in my heart Mom seemed to think she always took a back seat to Dad.  But she was always there to help us, give us strength hold us to a higher standard.  "We Struchen women are tough" she used to tell me when I was needing a listening ear.  "You c...

Payson Part Two

To continue from yesterday. As I was saying Barb talked me into the Purple Monster. After she demo'd it I was sold. Both Barb and Brenda said all their customers had it as they "don't share" That was too funny. Believe me these scrap booking ladies in Payson have all the latest and greatest papers, tools etc. So they were running a special and I bought Mr Purple Monster. So far I haven't been able to play but I do have it put together which consisted of putting the handle on. Need to put everything in it's case and get it all organized The Purple Monster Put together with all the accessories And some goodies I purchased So there ya have it the Purple Monster story. Now it is back to laundry, cleaning and getting ready for work tomorrow. Next class I have scheduled is at Mystic Paper with Kim . Her recipe book looks awesome.
