Another busy week has come and gone. I can't believe that it is November already. About 3 weeks and I will be flying home to Iowa for Thanksgiving. And then I return to leave again for California and another wonderful event with Kim C. I think I am not ready for any of them. Guess I better kick it it in high gear and get going on my very long to do list

Workouts continue as well as my knee rehab. Some days better than others as I am sure my trainer will attest to. Running is probably my favorite next to the kick boxing. Wt training can I just say I HATE. But despite that I am getting stronger.

This week has been a difficult one for a very good friend Kim H. Her daughter was admitted to the hospital. I need to say that Kim was pure grace, patience and strength under this truly heavy burden. How she managed to keep her family at home on tract, getting all the education the hospital was giving her and still staying in touch with all of us I will never know. She is truly one special person. We spent the evening with Kim and Kels on Friday. Both looked good and both had the most positive attitudes. We even got to visit with Kim's Mom, Aliya and Craig. Best news yet is they are home.

My sister sent me this the other day and thought I would post on my blog as it has a great message. Thanks Jo!

Being a human being is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff-- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.

So Saturday was pretty much the routine of Starbucks for early morning coffee. We made a quick trip to Mystic so I could pick up Tim Holtz distressable Stickles. Loving them and can't wait to use them.

Colleen and I visited with Daisy and Roy and were able to get all caught up on family and the goings on. Lunch at TC's was just the best as usual.
A quick trip to Michael's and then to Target yielded me new slippers (Nick & Nora). Love these monkey slippers. Thanks Ms Sadera for the heads up.

And a floor steam cleaner. Colleen has been telling me how wonderful and great this is so...... I caved and bought it. Can I say (as usual) she is right it is great. Love that you use no chemicals, soaps, detergents floor cleaners nothing. And best of all it really does work.

This months kit from Carol Wingert. It looks beautiful and can't wait to get it going.

My new fall wreath.

So I guess I have you all caught up. Now it is laundry and groceries and tackling that mile long to do list
