It's Friday!!!!!!

Yeah it is finally Friday and I have the day off. Not a day of rest that is for sure. Let's see it is 10:30 and I have already surfed the internet, raked and cleaned up the back yard, have one load of laundry in and living room dusted (not that it does any good) and mopped. Boy I am exhausted already. I made a deal with myself in setting time limits to clean and play. well so far doing ok we will see how the rest of the morning goes. Still need to go to the grocery store, fill the car up and clean the pool. Guess that means less surfing on the computer, less playing with projects and more W-O-R-K. Such is my pathetic life. I decided that even though I love my single status a man would be nice for the yard work, but then again I guess I could always hire that done. ok enough on that thought. so another busy week in recap. Worked on our response to our inspection and fed exed it out on wed yeah!!!!!! Staff meeting Tuesday went well, class on Wed at Jan's. Fun proje

It's Sunday already!!!

Well here it is Sunday already and my 3 days off have flown right by. It seems that days off are shorter than work days. Maybe because I try to get so much crammed in to them. Friday I took off and went to a Resort Spa selling thing with Colleen. Now most of us know that it is a rip off!!! Not Colleen! We drove for over a hour and got there and Colleen was so angry by then that she asked for her 20 dollars back and we left. Since we were in the Cave Creek area we stopped at Mad Scrappers fun little shop with friendly staff. Colleen was on the hunt for a piece of Rusty Pickle Paper after taking a class at DM . Not there so on to Mystic Paper not there, on to Recollections not there. We ended up our night at Lowe's having acrylic cut for albums. We have enough for us and 2 very special friends. Despite the very rude man wanting service from our sales person it was a fun experience. As Colleen says just because he had $250 shoes doesn't mean he could bump in front of

Long day of shopping and exploring

Ok everyone grab your favorite beverage and a seat as you are in for a long post. Today Colleen and I headed up to 7th Ave for shopping. We had in mind to check out the new stores we have read or heard about. 1st up was Melrose Vintage. They had been closed for most of the summer so we were more than ready for our fix of everything vintage. The store has done lots of rearranging and had new pretties and of course someone who will remain nameless (not me) bought tons of stuff. Me I fell in love with the vintage tinsels and that is what I got. After we left Melrose it was on to Rust and Roses . I walked in just as they were putting up a 3 tiered bird thingy. Yeap I grabbed it b4 Colleen had a chance to lay eyes on it. Again the nameless person bought alot, this person was good!!!! After Rust and Roses we went next door to the cutest, cleanest little antique second hand store/house. Oh my I found sooo much but unlike someone "nameless" I didn't buy. This store was set up as

Saturday was a fun filled long and in the end hot day!!!! My adventures started out with a trip to Market Square with Colleen. We lucked out and found lots of treasures for our altered art projects. Then it was to lunch at the Wildflower and then on to DM for altered book meeting and as invited guests for the run through of the classes Sandy and Michele are teaching at CKU. A little hot at DM as there was a slight problem with the air conditioning. Michelle had a great solution with the frozen water bottles to help keep us cool. We ended a great day with dinner with Sandy , Michelle and Kim at Jason's Deli. Mmmmmmm great food. Here are a few photos of our classes and treasures for the day. As we all know I post lots of pics!!!! Michelle's altered photo frame and the cutest tag that I somehow missed on the pic when I was taking it 1st of 2 Disney layouts from Sandy's class 2nd layout of Sandy's class Autograph Disney Album from Sandy's class Well this pic is out
