It has been a great weekend. I got lots of rest and for those of you that know me and my sleep habits I slept till 7:30 this am. Worlds record for me lately. so now that you all know I slept well here is a little glimpse of the rest of my weekend. Saturday was family dinner with TJ, Jenn, John, Sadera and Anthony. Where did we go?? Our favorite Tsunami. Great food and fun. We were all starving and so had a big order of sushi before our meal. Little Anthony ate 8 rolls from tuna to california rolls. I guess he hasn't figured out what sushi is as he sure loves it. Sushi platter with most of it gone Picking the favorites Anthony and TJ patiently waiting to eat??? The gang minus Daddy John I have started another altered book club. Our first swap is next Sunday, so I decided I probably needed to get started. My layouts are in my head but boy oh boy it is not computing to the pages. Below is the introduction to my book. I finally ripped out my first house as I painted it on

Yesterday was a full day of shopping and a virtual crop at Devine Memories hosted by Kim. By 1130 PM I was falling asleep over my last layout so need to finish it and get it posted. Anyway, I found lots of treasures for my altered door class next Saturday and finally was able to get my shoes that I sooooo wanted. My Red Mary Jane Nikes and a couple more pair. I had to order the Red ones and HELLOO Nordstroms they have been sitting there waiting for me to pick them up. Guess the guy forgot to call. So while picking up my shoes I found 2 more pair hee hee. Colleen and I went to a highly recommended store and bought lots of lace and other goodies for our altered books. Thanks Michelle and Kim for the tips. I now have some beautiful lace to work with. Then it was off antiquing. I had posted before that I had found a wall of post office boxes that I wanted, but no room in the inn for this large piece. Well what did I find but a single post office door. Yeap I snapped this up and have plan

11PM challenge completed. Yeah they are all done. A good nite of cropping. I accomplished alot and for the most part am pleased with what I did. Thanks Kim for hosting this month's virtual crop 10 pm challenge This is a very poor picture of my Dad's mother. She passed away when my father was very young so I never knew her. Unfortunately there are very few pictures of her and what pics there are are faded, blurry or slightly out of focus. Thanks Kim I would not have scrapped this normally. My 9 PM layout. No ink or matting and heavy use of rub ons and I sanded the picture 8 PM Challenge 7 PM challenge 6 PM challenge card 5 PM challenge Time 4pm card My favorite place Devine Memories is hosting a Virtual Crop tonight. Kim is our hostess and has lots of fun stuff planned for us. As I complete a project I will post on my blog. Hopefully I will make it till 11 pm.

I have taken some great classes over the past week. Tonight was "The Book Of Me" with Michelle at Devine Memories. I am looking forward to each month of having an assignment to describe us. Tonight was a great start. As promised Michelle here are the finished 2 pages. Wednesday nite was Stampin Up class at Jan's. We were really fortunate to be able to use the new stamps from the Spring Mini Catalog in creating 3 cards Tuesday was another inspiring class with Kim. We finished a wooden box and then are to put in pages stating what we love. I don't have this one finished yet but goal is to get it done this weekend. Then I will post pics Last Saturday was a second class with the wonderful Kim Kwan and the French Papers we all were so excited to use. My pages are done I just need to get pics in this book.

Weekend Review

Another weekend has come and gone. It was a weekend of disappointment, a little illness, and a whole lot of fun and creating. The disappointment stemmed from not being able to get my RED Mary Janes Nikes or my black Diesel Mary Janes. BUMMERS. On a positive note the RED ones are on there way . Illness, this stomach thing is better and the fun thing: TWO great classes at DEVINE MEMORIES . Michelle taught an awesome little wood love album. The 2nd class was again a fun awesome wild, loud, full of laughter " BOOK of LOVE " taught by KimKwan. Needless to say we were in our element. Fun day!! Wednesday nite Stampin Up class taught by Jan Beautiful cards! Michelle's awesome love book Inside of book Sneek peak of love book Another little peak

I'm in love!!!!!!

My new printer "Epson 1280" arrived at 8:30 pm last nite. Too late to set it up. Can I just say I love it. Easy to set up and install even for me. I love my new printer!!!! Set up and working. Yippee I must have done everything right as it is printing. 1st set of photos printed and I'm pleased. Only one draw back I misjudged the size of this printer. Major rearranging will need to happen so I have a bit more room to be on the computer. Other than that it is good. Thanks TJ for the push to get this one. It is great

My Sunday in pictures

Decided to try making little valentine treats for my staff and as a little surprise for the Stampin Up club on Wednesday. Spent most of the day working on these. Have about 30 made so far. Using up lots of my stash which is a good thing. Again playing. Valentine bouquet Colleen had given me this frame with glass so I stamped on the glass and on the frame. Glass stamping was a bit more of a challenge than I had anticipated but it worked. Great pic with the TV antena and cord too. Oops! So there you have it my day in pics.

Saturday Adventures

Colleen and I started our day at 10 with a quick trip to Starbucks and a wonderful venti Pumpkin Spice Latte. MMMMMMM Good plus as an added bonus it woke me up. We headed to Glendale to Creative Quest on the hunt for a water lily stamp for Colleen. Alsa no water lily to be had but... we found some treasures. From Glendale which by the way the traffic was horrendous thanks to some type of festival we were back on the interstate to Melrose Vintage on the corner of Lucky 15 in Phoenix. We found lots of new stuff to add to altered book collection. Colleen was able to get the other wooden display thingy and I picked up ribbon, stamps, and door knobs and a book stand. Our next stop was a vintage store next to Melrose. This was a fun store operated by 2 guys that were very sweet and funny. Yes friends and family we were soooo good. The guy behind the counter called his helper "the best helper bee" yeap we made it to the car before bursting into laughter. After that we went to IKEA f
