Quiet day

It's been a busy past couple of days, so today I'm kicking back and enjoying the beautiful fall weather. Well Az fall weather that is. Friday was supposed to be a short day of shopping with Colleen and turned into a marathon. I was so tired by the time I got home. Found some neat stuff at the Peddlars Wife.. They are still clearing out stuff for there going out of business sell. We stopped at the Paper Studio and I was able to pick up a few staples for my altered art. Got the new stickles colors. Love the cinamon as it looks like root beer.

Saturday was Renee's Book of Spells at Devine Memories. It was a fun class and my book is finished. Michelle's Aunt and her sister Jenn were also there and it was good to see Jenn. After class we headed to TC's for a great lunch. Then off to find ink cartridges and calendars for Colleen. Another long day!! So today I'm enjoying the quiet and the weather.

Pumpkins!! Jan taught us to make these cute little pumpkins at our Stampin Up class on Wed. I have made 9 so far. The floral papers I picked up Sat at Devine Memories and am loving them. I think they make such pretty little pumpkins. Going to use on Thanksgiving table

The Stockings Were Hung

I hosted a small group for a Christmas Stocking Swap. I kept the group small due to my time and work constraints and deadlines I was facing. My idea for the swap came from a wonderful online class I took with Nancy Maxwell James of Sugar Lump Studios . I really enjoyed her class and all her helpful tips and so the idea was born. I assigned secret partners, to each of the members as well as a Dec 10th deadline. Christine suggested we all wait and open our boxes on the same day. So today is the reveal. The stocking are gorgeous and it has been fun as the photos came in to see how each of us interpreted the theme. We designed and filled our stockings with goodies and then mailed to our partner. It's A Busy Good Friday

These past 2 weeks have alternately flown by and dragged by. We are up and running on are new Cyber Ren EMR and we are all loving it. The staff have done an amazing job of picking up the new system and continuing to dialyze without missing a beat. TJ has been a lifesaver from helping me enter all the data to setting up all the computers in the education room for training to knowing the system inside and out. The Doc has been supportive and he understands and uses the system as well as the trainers. So all in all it has been a good experience just very long. For now we are on our own and our wonderful rep and trainer Ulrich is back in Canada. Guess time will tell if we have all the kinks and bugs worked out So long intro into why I decided to stay home today. I am exhausted. I have done very little for the Easter dinner at my house this Sunday. So here I am cleaning and doing laundry and trying to decorate. I still haven't come up with anything special for Mr A and Ms S.
