What a Weekend

I was in Temecula Friday thru Monday for a Blog Her Party event held thru La Maison Rustique. Kim was a vendor at the blog party and Colleen and I traveled with her. We missed Maija as she was not able to come. We missed ya Maija!!!

Saturday bright and early we helped Kim set up her tables.Kim shared her tent with Candice. It is not I repeat not cooler in Temecula but it is pretty with lots of vineyards.
Kim and Cheryl were there of course and we had a blast hanging and catching up with them. To say we all roasted was not an exaggeration. There were many pretties to see and drool over. One of the fun things was the pink trailer and "Lucy" car. Loved it

After we all packed Kim up we headed to South Coast Winery to celebrate Joy's birthday. Wow what a fabulous meal. Then back to the hotel to sleep

Sunday brought another special day planned by Kim and Cheryl. They took us to the Flea Market in Orange County. Too fun too hot too expensive ha ha. Colleen took off and found the most wonderful stuff, Cheryl and Kim headed a different direction and found wonderful stuff and Kim and I did not make it out of the original ailes. But we found some fantastic door knobs (supposedly from the Hearst Castle)
Then it was on to Paris in a Cup. This has to be one of the big highlights of the trip. It is more than words can express. Over the top FUN, ELEGANT and Wonderful delicacies all with a French flair. Loved it. Thank you Kim for making the reservations.

We managed to do a bit of shopping in Orange at the famous apron store and some antique shops. It was hard to say goodbye to our buddies but Kim and Cheryl needed to head home.
We headed back to Temecula via Colleen's every trusty GPS. Dinner and back to our room to crash

Monday was spent in the car heading home. It was a wondeerful weekend with great traveling companions, our fun Cali friends, good food and lots and lots of laughter.
"I'm just sayin" it doesn't get any better. Oh ya wait it does we are heading back in Oct for Artisitic Affaire Deux and in Dec for Joyeux Affaire
