This & That Thursday

Thank heavens tomorrow is Friday. For a four day work week it has seemed never ending. So not alot to post about. I just finished my Crispy Yogurt Chicken I made Monday and am having Cheeseburger pie tonight. Again probably 4-5 meals from this due to only one eating it is "ME"
Sherry Rennee Wescott aka the other Sherry is having a blog anniversary party. Head on over to her blog she is celebrating all month with lots of fun things. Sherry was one of the participants in my tag swap I hosted.

Good friend Kim H has her wood product as part of a monthly kit put together by Laura McCollough "A Kiss on the Chic" check out her blog. Congrats Kim H.

Mail day was super wonderful. A beautiful announcement from Kim C in California. I won't post a pic till this weekend as I don't want to spoil it for those that have yet to receive it. It is amazing what Kim C does. And in one month I will be back in Cali playing at her great event. Can't wait

And I just want to send out Birthday Wishes to Rebecca aka "sparklinbecks" Go check her blog as she is celebrating with a give away also. Happy Birthday Rebecca!!! Her blog is very inspiring with her recipes, layouts and many other things she does.

Today: Chaos, Cooking, Cleaning and Creating

What a day. I think I put the "Labor" into Labor Day. After yesterday, where I basically sat all day I needed to get going. And get going I did. From laundry to cleaning to grocery shopping to creating I have had a busy day. I have decided that what I eat sucks. I rarely cook a good meal and then at bedtime I am back to starving. So in my great wisdom I decided I needed to get with it and start fixing better meals for myself. Cooking for 1 is not the most inspiring thing. I am so used to cooking for larger groups and I tend to make too much. any how armed with a list for the grocery store and determination I headed out. I shopped and shopped, loaded all the groceries into the car and unloaded all the groceries from the car when I got home. From there it was a whirlwind of mixing and making my meals for the week. Tag Dress Form= a great day

Yesterday Kim and I took an Altered Dress Form with tags class at Mystic Paper with Lisa Super . This was a fun self paced class. I managed to get a few tags completed and Kim went a different direction and painted her dress form with gesso and gessoed her tags. The tags she completed were beautiful so I am anxious to see hers completed too. All of us had unique tags even though we were working with the same supplies. Lisa had tons of paper, flowers, stamps and on and on for us to complete the projects. Of course I did a wee bit of shopping and was able to pick up Prima's new stitched papers and 3 of their acrylic stamps as well as a wonderful new stand to hang "things" on. Then I scored some of Kim's new wood shapes. Loving her new line!
